ESO Summerset

Postby Danno8 » 8:53 am, Mon May 21, 2018

ESO Summerset will get all the way to character select, but upon hitting play will CTD if Hook64 is being used. No error message given.

Thanks!

Steam Logins are not working... Use the forced username login, that workaround is allowing me in.

Same issue as stated, using Hook64 I get to the toon load but it crashes with every toon, no error messages.

After summerset, Hook made eso lag. Without Hook eso is 50-70 fps, no stutter no lag. With Hook fps go down 20 and massive lag and stutter hits. I tried new and old geforce drivers, change settings nvidia and game. Disabling Control flow guard (CFG) in windows defender settings maybe helped lag, but fps go down 20 and stutter is there. I dont know what to do anymore to get hook and eso work. I m no expert but it feels like memory gets overload.

I have been using hook or eso launcher since 2014-15. Made game so much better, thanks for this great addon.

Have you tried changing every Hook64 option? Any idea which ones causing it? Does it happen everywhere, or only specific places?

If you can't figure it out, Ill get on and check in the next few days.

I tried now with Hook64 and all options disabled, still low fps, lagging, game does not load all npc etc. I checked MSI afterburner and with Hook64 pagefile usage little bit higher 9,6 GB vs 7,7 GB and video memory 3 GB vs 2,3 GB, ram is same about 5 GB. my specs: intel 2500k, 8 GB, ssd and nvida 970. Other games works fine, only eso with Hook64 wont work.

I ll try something else later and let you know if I get anything.

And yes, it happens everywhere in game, even in character screen.

I tried 1.6.4.9 Beta version and very disappointed , performance has fallen dramatically , back to 1.6.4.0 - I have a great FPS .
Thank you for your work Sorien , I hope my review will help improve the beta version in the future .
