There is a Magestorm 2 in the works, Our saviour Sorien is working on a bigger and better Magestorm, where you will be able to come in and make whatever lvl you like. Up to 30 will be the limit, high scores will no longer mean anything. Hopefully we will put in a K D ratio again like the last website had.
Imagine being able to make 5-15 games, everyone makes a 15 and bam where having fun. I think this is an awesome idea and am hoping it will bring some life back to this game we all love and dont want it to die. Ayo gave me the idea and I passed it on to Sor. he agreed so thia should be ready soon. Hopefully we can be playing guild matches very soon!!

Weve all grinded to 30 plenty of times, this will also encourage new players to come in and make a 30 off the bat and start killing right away.

Sounds fun, let's hope people show. I'm game when it's up and running.

a levelup mod isnt going to bring back players who have already spent many hours leveling... in fact, it's kinda a kick in the shorts.

- get rid of the levelup mod
- replace the leaderboards with a rank system (could be public, 2v2, 4v4, 6v6, etc)
- add a ranked match mode
- wipe all characters

even if we get 6 months with a max of 24~ players (around the max what i noticed at peak) it'll be fun again...

that's what I would like to know...I would play Magestorm in a hot second...I played this during the AOL and Gamestorm days...gosh that was good times, its all about the community..Is the player count accurate on the webpage??

Magestorm 2 was just something I said because now you go in and make a 30 right away. So that's why I said its Mage2, its really still Mage 1 with auto 30 lvl now.

It would be cool get that live streamer who brought in a bunch of people into Mage a couple times to come back , now that you can make a 30

Im an old school player that played from when it was created till it got discontinued (unfortunately) and this whole level mod thing really takes all the fun out of leveling up yourself. I understand that the player base is a lot smaller compared to back than but id still enjoy gaining my own levels.
